What is Member Advocacy?

OneShare Health’s Member Advocacy Program helps negotiate the cost of balance bills Members receive for using Out-of-Network providers.

If the provider does not accept the Out-of-Network rate and bills the Member for the difference, our Members can contact Member Support at 855-699-1274 to connect with our Sharing Team for potential Member Advocacy. 

OneShare Health will attempt to work with the provider on the Member's behalf to explore financial assistance, self-pay discounts, negotiations, and/or payment arrangements to lower the Member's out-of-pocket costs.
